Managing Director - Matthew Statham B Eng (Hons), C Eng, MIET
A Chartered Manufacturing Engineer, Matthew joined Rover Group in 1991, where he gained valuable experience in both Manufacturing Engineering and Production Management. He made his first contacts with China when working as a Project Manager responsible for global sourcing. Subsequently, he gained further experience of Chinese sourcing when responsible for new product introduction at a leading automotive sub-contractor. This experience led to him identifying the need for a UK product sourcing agent who understands the automotive new product introduction process; from which emerged ChinaTech Sourcing Ltd.

Having started his career in Canada, Jason moved in the 1990s to China where he has operated at senior levels across a range of manufacturing and service organizations. He has spent the past 12+ years in China developing local relationships, establishing specialty machine manufacturing and product distribution facilities, and recruiting and managing local teams. He has also consulted for numerous Canadian, UK and US companies regarding China entry strategies and has worked with a number of Chinese state-owned enterprises to assist them develop business strategies to serve the needs of western companies in China and abroad.

Also a graduate engineer, Robbin is an English speaking Chinese national. He has significant experience in managing new product introduction in a diverse range of applications and industries. With a strong automotive background he brings excellent leadership, technical and commercial management skills to our Ningbo office.
